Job Summary

The Preventative Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the shift activities of the Machining and Assembly area. This role involves managing a team of personnel to ensure efficient operations, meet production targets, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Keeps communication with the Maintenance Coordinators and analyzes the performance related maintenance KPI's (Repair time, MTTR, MTBF, etc.), for including actions to eliminate existent failures on the equipment during the Planned Preventive Maintenance.
  • Plans Preventive and Predictive Maintenance according to standard times for every production machine and equipment including the new ones, ensuring proper communication with the related areas (Production, Logistics, HSE, etc.)
  • Ensures the right execution and documentation of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance activities according to the related procedures (Technical, Safety and HSE) and utilizing the defined systems and methodologies.
  • Uses the basic functions on the SAP system in order to seek and obtain spare parts, close work orders and give follow up to purchase orders
  • Participates actively in TPM development / improvement initiatives
  • Attends and plan for his team internal and external trainings in order to obtain the necessary skills and fulfill the system quality & environmental audit requirements.
  • Educate, instruct, and support maintenance personnel.
  • Promotes through the example the care of machinery, equipment, facilities, tools, process and product, helping to train coworkers in the same way. Provide feedback and evaluates performance of his team.
  • Other duties associated with leading a team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical Degree or related experience preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience working with HPDC and machining equipment.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Propensity to lead
  • Promotes and supports team development.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, as well as electronic and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with installed equipment is a plus (Bühler, Striko-Westofen, ABB, AGTOS, ABK, Wollin, Robamat, Grob, SW, Ecocleen, For Plan, KMS).
  • Willingness to learn new concepts is essential
  • Must be resourceful and have the ability to provide clear and analytical thinking and problem-solve.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
