Facilities Technician
Impact of this role and key deliverables
- Adhere to compliance with company policies
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and EAP regulations.
- Perform minor building maintenance tasks as required: plumbing, electrical, air filters, doors, dock levers, floor stripping, etc.
- Assist with analysis- Determine risk and hazards associated with production process; ensuring processes are operational and effective.
- Assist in conducting evaluations and making recommendations regarding the potential fire hazards of building, finish goods, chemicals, and production equipment.
- Assist with coordinating tornado and fire drills.
- Assist with maintaining fire prevention system to assure national fire protection association and Fire marshall compliance.
- Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting the facilities, machinery, and safety equipment. Report findings and corrective actions to facilities manager.
- Perform other duties as requested by facility manager.
- Training on preventative maintenance for HVAC equipment and TRACER system management experience
- Blueprint reading, Forklift certification, Electrical systems, HVAC, and BA systems.
- High school and Technical career desirable
- 3 years on production area
